Cancellation Policies:
Rooms & Cottages
31 days prior to the arrival date - $25.00 Administration fee
15-30 days prior to arrival - 25% of the total reservation shall apply
8-14 days prior to arrival - 50% of the total reservation shall apply
7 days or less prior to arrival-100% of the total reservation shall apply.
15% HST (Harmonized Sales Tax) applies to all reservations.
*Please note: if you have booked a package with us that includes musical tickets, the cost of these tickets is non-refundable*
Shortened stays
Shortened stays within 30 days of arrival date will be subject to fees in above cancellation policy.
No refunds will be offered if you decide to leave early.

**Any policy received directly from Kindred Spirits Inn & Cottages always supersedes any third party booking.**
Vacation Rental Insurance:
To protect you against unforeseen circumstances we highly recommend vacation rental cancellation insurance. No one plans for unforeseen circumstances, so this is the best way to ensure peace of mind. Travel insurance offers vital coverage for unplanned situations such as death, critical illness, flight delays, etc. We are a small business with a limited season and situations beyond our control can have a significant impact, and unfortunately we’re not able to absorb those costs.
Occupancy Policies:
Rooms have a maximum capacity of 3 people (Economy room 2 people)
All 2 bedroom cottages have a maximum of 7 (Economy room 3 people)
All 3 bedroom cottages have a maximum of 9
Should extra people arrive beyond the maximum allowable occupancy we will ask you leave the premises. We have insurance policies to adhere to for maximum capacity numbers on the property.
Maximum 2 vehicles per unit please.
Reservations:
To make a reservation at Kindred Spirits you must be at least 21 years of age with a valid credit card in your name.
*Pack and plays and booster seats are available by request depending on availability.*
Smoking & Seafood Policies:
All Kindred Spirits grounds, buildings, rooms, cottages and attached decks are non-smoking/vaping (tobacco or cannabis products). Smoking/Vaping is not permitted within 15 feet of any building and must occur at designated smoking area.
Outdoor cookers & large pots are available to cook seafood subject to availability. We DO NOT allow seafood in the rooms or cottages.
If your unit smells of tobacco, cannabis or seafood on check-out or there is evidence of smoking/vaping having occurred in a unit or on the deck, a $200 cleaning fee will be charged to your credit card.
In the event the interior or furnishings are damaged, guests may be subject to additional repair or replacement fees.
Pool & Hot Tub Policies:
Pool is open mid June to mid September (weather dependent).
ABSOLUTELY no jumping in pool or hot tub.
No food or glass allowed at the pool.
Please follow all signage at the pool.
Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
NO unregistered guests allowed.
